This satellite image obtained from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration shows Hurricane Ernesto at 13:40 Zulu on August 15, 2024. Ernesto, a Category 1 hurricane, is moving towards Bermuda prompting hurricane warnings and is forecast to pass near or over the island on August 17. Ernesto was located about 605 miles (975kms) south-southwest of Bermuda with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph (140 kph) and was moving north at 13 mph (20 kph). L’uragano Francine spaventa gli Usa e si abbatte sulla Louisiana con venti fino a 155 chilometri all’ora. Almeno 190mila persone sono rimaste al buio a causa dei continui blackout. Francine marcia ora verso New Orleans, dove sono già in atto piogge battenti. La speranza dei residenti è che l’uragano perda forza con il passare delle ore.
